In the rustic vaulted cellar of our house there is a great location, which is based on a medieval tavern. This special room can also be rented and is suitable as an impressive backdrop for private events or company celebrations for small and medium-sized groups. In Advent 2023, the beautifully staged light trail through Millstatt, decorated for Christmas, will take place for the first time. > INFO
A highlight (!in the truest sense of the word!) is the staged observation tower in Barbara Egger Park. We have opened our restaurant right next door, at the highest point of the circular route. We offer visitors cold and hot drinks as well as small snacks. And when the host, Manni Maier, is in the mood, he presents a few texts he has written himself. Cheerful and contemplative with reference to Christmas.

Originally belonging to the Benedictine monastery as a fortified yard, it became a private noble residence at the time of the Knights of St. George, and later a simple farm under the Jesuits. From the 1950s, the gradual conversion into a family-run guest house took place.
The old Romanesque building is modernly equipped today: solar system, central heating, shower/toilet, satellite TV and WiFi in the lovingly renovated rooms distinguish this romantic hotel.
